Let's see:
1. You opened a game file. What game file, where did it come from, and how did you try to open it?
2. The computer turned off.
3. You started Windows again, and it was stuck at the Windows logo. That points to a Windows problem.
4. You entered the BIOS menu to boot again. That's strange. I never boot from the BIOS menu. I boot by pressing the power button. How do you boot from the BIOS menu?
5. You setup Windows 8 again. From the recovery partition? From a DVD? From a USB-stick?
6. It is stuck in "setup is starting".
For me, this points to some hardware issue. Go into the BIOS, reset it to defaults, and try the Windows setup again. If no luck, boot from a Linux disk. What happens?
